Our History

Some years ago, a group of families came together believing that God was leading them to start a school in the Runda/Gigiri area.

As the need for quality education in Kenya continued to grow these men and women wanted to contribute to meet this need. They believed that in starting a school they would not only impart academic knowledge but would also develop the spiritual and social development of children.

The Biblical view that a child is valuable to God drove them to set up a school that puts the child at the center. In addition, they believe that parents must also be directly involved in the education of their children so that a partnership between school and home would mould learners to be the best that God intended for them.

Potterhouse today exists to prepare children for their God given destiny.

The school has an established kindergarten and a growing primary school comprising of children from different nationalities representing the community the school serves.

Our Location

Potterhouse School and Kindergarten is located in the heart of Runda Estate in an atmosphere conducive to learning and is purpose built to provide quality Christian education.
