The School and Kindergarten curriculum is an enhanced British National Curriculum and covers Kindergarten, Key Stage 1, 2 and 3
It is tailored to meet the needs of the local and international community from whom we draw our students. Our teaching is guided by biblical principles to develop critical, independent thinking and character as the basis of life long learning.
The British National Curriculum is divided into 5 key stages:
Reception/Kindergarten consists of ages 1 1/2 - 5.
Key stage 1 consists of ages 5 - 7, equivalent to year 1 - 2.
Key stage 2 consists of ages 7 - 11, equivalent to year 3 - 6+
Key stage 3 consists of ages 11- 14, equivalent to year 7 - 9.
Key stage 4 consists of ages 14 - 16, equivalent to year 10 - 11.
At Potterhouse we currently offer up to Key Stage 3.
