About us
Potterhouse is a Christian value-based school that offers education from Kindergarten to High School using the British National Curriculum (BNC). The BNC is dynamic and skills oriented; it ensures that knowledge taught in different disciplines is understood and applied in daily life.
- Peach, Pear and Melon are our kindergarten classes catering for children between 2 to 5 years.
- Primary runs from Years 1-2 (Key Stage 1) and Years 3-6 (Key Stage 2)
- High School runs from Years 7-9 (Key Stage 3) and Years 10-11 (Key Stage 4).
Our academic year begins in late August/early September and ends in July.
Term 1 (15 weeks)
- School opening –Tuesday, 2nd September 2025
- Half term –Monday 20th October – Friday, 24th October 2025
- School closing –Thursday, 4th December 2025 – Kindergarten, Years 1-6 – Friday, 5th December 2025 – Years 7- 13
Term 2 (12 weeks)
- School opening –Tuesday, 6th January, 2026
- Half term – Monday, 16th February – Friday, 20th February 2026
- School closing –Friday, 27th March 2026 – Whole School
Term 3 (11 weeks)
- School opening –Tuesday, 21st April 2026
- Half term –Wednesday, 27th May – Friday, 29th May 2026
- School closing –Thursday, 2nd July 2026 – Kindergarten, Years 1 – 5, 7, 8, 10, 12 – Friday, 3rd July 2026 – Years 6, 9, 11 & 13
